Mobile — works without a connection

No signal? Still working.

The network drops.The cleaning doesn't.

While the app next door shows "Connection error", your housekeepers take the photo, sign off the task, and move to the next room. Hostik sends everything the moment the signal returns — in the right order, no duplicates, nothing lost.

On the floor

Three moments where the network fails — and your team doesn't stop.

Tools that need a constant connection give up on the first missing bar. The Hostik app is built for real buildings — not the ideal conditions of a demo.

01/03

Stairwell, second basement

Your housekeeper heads down for fresh linen and passes a room that needs inspecting. No connection in the utility floor. She takes the photo, ticks the check-list, signs off. The phone goes back in her pocket. On the way up, everything sends at once.

02/03

The hotel Wi-Fi cuts out

The corridor box restarts. For those two minutes, six rooms are changing guests. Nobody on the floor notices: the app saves everything on the phone and picks back up on its own the moment the connection returns. No task sent twice, no photo lost.

03/03

Courtyard-side room, thick walls

A guest flagged some damage. The technician arrives, takes a photo, and opens a report. No signal — it doesn't matter. The report shows up for the manager the second the phone has a signal again.

How it works

Four simple things that make the app shrug off the network.

No magic — just what you'd expect from a serious field tool: everything is saved on the phone, in order, and sends itself the moment the connection comes back.

01 / 04

Everything saves on the phone first

Every action — photo, sign-off, check-list, report — is saved on the phone first. The screen reacts right away, with no waiting on the server. No personal guest data is ever kept on the device: only the work in progress.

02 / 04

Actions send back in the right order

Each action is numbered the moment it's done. When the connection returns, everything is sent in the exact order it happened — even if the phone's clock is wrong. The server sees the same sequence the housekeeper lived.

03 / 04

Sending happens on its own, in the background

The app sends data on its own, in small batches. If a send fails, nothing is lost: it tries again a little later, then further apart, and alerts the manager if it really won't go through. A photo cut off mid-send resumes where it stopped instead of starting over.

04 / 04

Photos are sealed the instant they're taken

Every photo is sealed on the phone the moment it's taken, with the time and place if available. It becomes impossible to alter without it showing. The proof holds whether it was taken with or without a connection.

Versus tools that need a connection

Where a web app stops, Hostik keeps going.

An app that needs a connection works fine as long as there's a network. Under a concrete slab, in a lift, behind a thick wall — the difference is obvious.
